What other book can so change men for time and for eternity?

The word of god is life giving. We partake of his life when we make his words a part of who we are. “my soul clings to the dust” (confession), “give me life according to your word” (prayer). Lord, make us thirsty for your word so that we may grow even closer and connected to your living word, jesus christ.

Sometimes god will call you to serve a people that are less responsive but who still need to hear the gospel or receive the help god is calling you to offer. I am sure i have read it many times before, but today, it arrested my thoughts. Otherwise, many of them would not be able to attend.

First peter 1:23, “born again … through the living and enduring word of god.” I came across a scripture last evening that captured my heart. God is the source of life, so when he speaks, he speaks life.

Your gift is an investment that will make an eternal difference in young lives! The precepts of the lord are right, giving joy to the heart. The opening verse (verse 25) consists of both a confession and a prayer:

But then the fruitfulness starts to dry up. Life giving word of god. For the word of god is quick, [literally, 'living']and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Daily bible reading is designed to facilitate consistent interaction with scripture. He has now been for some years a native pastor, and is a most zealous and godly man. All about transforming the society and living a good life.

With that said, many times in life god blesses a ministry or a certain activity with lots of fruit for a specific period of time. The word of god is a living being. Nothing in life is more important than knowing god and trusting in him.as christian educators and parents, we must help children to obey the imperative, “i have hidden your word in my heart, that i might not sin against you” psalm 119:11 (nlt).

Last week we considered that god's word purifies our souls unto genuine love when we yield to it by obedient faith. The word of god is the bread of the spirit.

How powerful is the word of god when brought into contact with one's life? “a benefit of praying the bible is that it makes you enter the throne of grace with new boldness. Since we've been born again by god's immutable & eternal word, we ought to continue to walk in it's life & light today.
